CHA offers resources to help you commemorate those days of the year designated to consider the atrocity of human trafficking/modern day slavery while also calling us to prayer and other action. These days include:

• Dec. 2: International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, shines the spotlight on the atrocities of modern slavery that still exist in the world.
• Jan. 11: National Day of Human Trafficking Awareness, brings attention to a crime that leaves a lasting toll on human life, families and communities around the world. It is U.S. based.
• Feb. 8: International Day of Prayer and Awareness against Human Trafficking. Designated by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace and the International Union of Superiors Generals, it brings awareness to this world-wide crisis.
• July 30: World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, calls all persons to reflect on what each of us can do to decrease vulnerabilities to trafficking, or the risks that follow from such vulnerabilities.
